Teachers
Roser Ros & Gustav Jacobson
Gustav and Roser met in Barcelona when Gustav was Roser’s Solo Jazz teacher. They later began collaborating and working together, and currently teach both regular classes and at festivals.
They are both passionate about the world of rhythm and tap dance, as well as studying and drawing inspiration from vintage clips of original African American dancers. Their classes are dynamic, fun, and packed with content, focusing on aspects such as rhythm, musicality, surprising steps, connection, and creativity within dance.
Roser Ros, from Barcelona, is a versatile dancer who captivates audiences at both local and international events with her mastery of Lindy Hop, aerial acrobatics, and Solo Jazz. With a background in gymnastics, circus arts, and pedagogy, she discovered Lindy Hop in 2011, and since then, her passion and knowledge of Jazz culture have continued to grow. Currently, he focuses his efforts on studying rhythm through tap dancing, which he combines with solo jazz, while deepening his follower skills and expanding his knowledge as a leader.
Gustav Jacobson grew up in a family deeply involved in dance, although during his early years he focused primarily on sports. Almost 20 years ago, he attended the Herräng Dance Camp to try lindy hop and was fortunate enough to receive one of his first lessons from the legendary Frankie Manning. He fell in love with this dance instantly and has since been dedicated to learning and deepening his understanding of this art form.
Originally from Sweden, Gustav currently resides in Barcelona, where he dances and teaches. In his classes, he emphasizes rhythm, flow, and musicality.
